BIONIC University certified graduates of Coursera Learning Hub in Kiev

BIONIC University for the first time has presented its own certificates to graduates of Coursera Learning Hub in Kiev. Official confirmation of knowledge was attained by students of Coursera’s “Programming for Everybody (Python)” from the University of Michigan. During four months the participants studied online lectures and visited offline meetings with BIONIC University experts twice a week.

This year’s first meeting on Python at Coursera Learning Hub was attended by more than 120 participants. Most of them had no previous training in this programming language. Later, the participants were divided into two groups according to their level of knowledge. Individual projects were defended by ten finalists who presented their work to the experts from IT-companies. Among them - online shops, a to-do list, a blog and other projects. After the presentations and comments from IT-experts the finalists received certificates from BIONIC University.

“BIONIC University was the first to open Coursera Learning Hub in Kiev, and now we are very excited to officially confirm the level of knowledge gained with our assistance. This is a unique case, as until now we were giving certificates only upon completion of BU major programs. But the students of Python course have thoroughly approached the study and were able to prove that their efforts and projects are worthy of attention”, - commented Aleksandr Zharikov, Business Development Manager at BIONIC University.
