Dances in “vyshyvankas”. BIONIC University holds a graduate party in Ukrainian style.

What Ukrainian parties can do without pretty girls, joyful dances and tasty pies? The null ones! Do graduates need null parties? No, they don’t, decided the team of BIONIC University and organized an unforgettable fest.
Viktor Kryvenko, head of BU Supervisory Board, congratulated the graduates, while the fest hostess Valentyna Rakitina, head of Entrepreneurship program, gladly invited the guests to try delicious treats: cherry pies and uzvar created the truly Ukrainian mood.
To make the fest unforgettable, guests were divided into five teams, each of which was to prepare its own congratulation within 30 minutes. There were songs, and poetry, and a three-act play, and even a real quest! Participants were to collect phrases from famous cartoons out of separate words, hanging all over the walls of the hall. The quest participants were running so quickly that many of them fell down to the floor! But the phrases turned out to be not from the cartoons, but made up by the questers. For example, “if there are acorns - we want”.
A special present for graduates from BU was the dancing duet. Guests enjoyed greatly the vivacious Spanish dance and Ukrainian-style ballet performed by the duet.
Congratulations from the teams gave place to the major event of the evening: certificates presentation. Iryna Zaytseva, Program Director for BU, congratulated graduates on the course completion. Groups studying Tech Skills, Soft Skills and Entrepreneurship received certificates as well as invitation to get back to BU. Because we are always happy to see our graduates coming back to new training programs!
Certainly, there were presents. For guests and graduates, the fest hostesses Valentyna Rakitina and Anna Myrolyubenko carried out a festive prize draw. The prizes included high lights (firework sparklers), sweet life (chocolate), and many other things.
The official part of the fest was over, giving the start to the unofficial – dances! The duet entertained the guests and showed them several joyful dances. The dance “Socu bachі vira” was worth a thousand of words – not many can pass such test for speed and attention!
Can you imagine a New Year without making a wish for the future? The fest hostesses prepared small “prophecies” on pieces of paper so that the guests could come up, take  a “prophecy” and find out about their destiny for the next year. We wish you a happy New Year! May all your dreams come true and welcome to BIONIC University in 2014!
