The first Vice-President of BIONIC Hill about Prospects of BIONIC University Development

 

BIONIC University is aimed at ensuring powerful HR replenishment of the innovation park, during the first phase, primarily, in the domain of information technologies, and later on in other areas of BIONIC Hill specialization as well. Mission of this initiative is to combine efforts of all the parties concerned for improving quality of actual applied training of specialists.

“During the first phase, BIONIC University is seen as the center of raising skills of IT specialists. Maximally close relationship with the industry and focusing on the company’s needs is of particular importance for us”, as Viktor Galasyuk, the First Vice-President of BIONIC Hill innovation park, notes. He also stresses that development of this educational initiative suggests formation of teamwork skills, language proficiency, and training in project management techniques.

“Portfolio of training directions shall be further extended. For example, we shall add the directions of cloud technologies and creation of applications for mobile platforms (Windows Mobile, Android and iOS)”, Viktor Galasyuk reports. The list of priorities also includes focusing on development of technical entrepreneurship in Ukraine and active international cooperation.

BIONIC University and partner companies are interested in high-quality training and subsequent employment of students. Circle of partners is constantly widened.

Strategic direction of development of the educational project which is unique for Ukraine shall become clearer upon completion of the first phase of activities. “First of all, it is necessary to work out all the mechanism, to determine the optimal model, and thereupon it is possible to scale the experience following the market needs, interests of partner companies, and possibilities of BIONIC University. After several groups of students graduate when the technology as a whole would be run in, and findings of the first phase would be available, the range of educational programs shall be extended, and the issues of education cost and other terms shall be solved”, Viktor Galasuyk explains.
