BIONIC University Starts Training of the First 60 Students

Within the framework of BIONIC Hill project, BIONIC University, the center of professional training of IT specialists possessing practical competences and actual knowledge, started its operations. At present time, 60 students are already recruited and started training in the directions of Java-programming and QA (software testing). Period of training under the programs is less than half-year, both on daily and evening basis. Several releases shall be free of charge. Viktor Galasyuk, the First Vice-President of BIONIC Hill innovation park, told about all those activities.

Candidates for training under the program can be both beginners in IT domain, and senior students of specialized higher educational establishments. Recruitment criteria include passing of technical test and integrated interview. “For candidates it is important to meet the companies’ requirements”, the First Vice-President of BIONIC Hill states.

According to him, the principal task of BIONIC University is to provide the business residents of the innovation park with sufficient inflow of high-skilled specialists and to ensure productive interrelation of education, science and high-tech business, since today there is the obvious gap between the fundamental theoretical training of students at higher educational establishments and practical requirements of employers. It is one of limiting factors of IT industry development, as Viktor Galasyuk states.
