BIONIC Summer Camp is an educational intensive program of BIONIC School, which gives students the opportunity to get necessary knowledge in the chosen IT-technology, absorb and practically apply it while working as a developers team member on a project, as well as pass a number of programs and trainings for the development of personal skills and competences.
BIONIC Summer Camp is your first step to a successful career in the IT-industry.
6 weeks of intensive training in selected technologies, coaches from the leading IT-companies, creating own team projects, developing skills, new contacts, exchange of experience, meetings with successful IT-managers and many more interesting things are waiting for you.
Organizers diversify your training with different quests, competitions, master classes! Therefore, in addition to BIONIC School certificate, you’ll get amazing impressions and great memories!
- Basic knowledge of the chosen technology
- Intermediate level of English
- Motivation and desire to undergo intensive training in the mode of project work from the start till the very end
- We assemble teams of 6 members, who work on the project for 6 weeks, 5 days per week, 6-8 hours per day
- The program includes lectures (theoretical part) and project team work (practical part)
- Each team consists of members of different specializations, such as Front-end and Back-end developers or Front-end developers and QA/BA
- Several times a week BIONIC School team prepares fun activities and trainings for Summer Camp participants
BIONIC team has already held 3 Summer Camps.
During Summer Camps 2014-2015 participants used the following technologies: Java SE/EE, C#, PHP, Objective C, and so on.
Summer Camp 2016 combined Front-end developers who have studied HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Bootstrap, etc., and QA/business analysts who studied the preliminary assessment and analysis of the project, the basics of information gathering, manual software testing, writing test cases and bug reports.
Technologies and specializations of Summer Camp 2017 will be announced in spring 2017.
In total during 3 Summer Camps participants developed 16 projects, including a program for online photo sharing, MOOC, online environment for testing, site for online shopping, mobile applications with various features, online environment for project management, informational websites for Ukrainian companies, etc.
We are looking forward to new and exciting projects to be developed!
I would like to express my gratitude for the camp, it was a fun and informative at the same time. Special thanks to Sasha and Tanya for involvement in our work and constant support. It was cool to participate in a real project! I think the program has given us the direction in which we will develop.
I took part in the program as a Team Lead. This is my first and very interesting experience "at the helm". It was interesting to try myself and my abilities in managing the project, I was deeply invoved and really cared about the result. Excellent Summer Camp's organization, I received a lot of positive impressions, discovered the whole process of scrum-based development, learned and applied new technologies, so now I have something to tell and show to the employer :)
